The Story With A Message Tied To God

For Immediate Release

DENVER/EWORLDWIRE/April 30,1999 & 2007 --- Art, education, and literacy advocate Todd Bailey has dedicated himself to raising awareness about America's failing school systems and the critical impact communities that take an active role can have on changing those systems.
Bailey's beliefs lie in the notion that Americans need to harness a shared attitude to focus on challenging the vision of leaving no child behind, by being innovative and participatory and making sure that words are turned into actions.

Bailey said, "I work with some great people like Tony Uva, John Cooper, John Lange, Cathy B., Judy T., and on and on. Men like Dr. Lange and Bill Lee have a shared vision to make it happen for students and teachers. Women like Pat Shipley and Rusty Orr bring the vision in line for the rest of us. People working together make a difference".

"This nation, under God, is directly tied to our children in the future. By challenging their expressions and goals to the highest level children will access a desire to seek improvement in every aspect of their lives," Bailey said.

"Children are the future of this great country," continued Bailey. "My mission is to prove that attitude and involvement can make a difference in every school system."

Bailey has spent his time supporting and promoting the Adams 14 Education Foundation, a tax-exempt organization created in 1999. Through the growth of this foundation, funds and resources can be implemented to halt the further demise of failing school institutions and change their course.

"If we can obtain resources to apply towards a set goal for our education systems, moving the marker up into quality improvement processes," Bailey added, "lower ranked schools will face a remarkable improvement in csap scores".

It is not the children that make these schools fail; it is the lack of time and energy put in to the institutions. You need funds to buy paper and pencils."

Another critical aspect to the success of America's schools is effective and dedicated teachers and administrators. "In a flagging school system, schools are represented by low income participants. This causes higher turnover and less stability, with a decrease in dedication to the students and the overall well-being of the institution." Bailey believes that resources need to be prominent in all aspects of the education system.

Bailey is driven to reaching the day when all children, throughout the country, can feel equal to each other and have the same advantages to face the world, regardless of demographics and location.

As author of "High Rolling Musical Beings and Their Space Rider," "Falcon and the Whale," and "Apple," Bailey donates 10 percent of his book profits to the Adams 14 Education Foundation. "My books are my way of providing a possible royalty to fund the programs necessary to keep teachers and students in the game," said Bailey.

"God has prompted my heart to do this - and to make Adams 14 Education Foundation a successful and viable program. Bailey also will donate 10% of his royalty off his albums found at cdbaby.com. or at http://www.isound.com/todd_bailey

"Instead of planning for more prisons to be built, we could go the other way - invest in generations ahead and disrupt the pattern. It can be done...My Dad always said, "Many hands make light the work."
