todd bailey: Home
1.) My stance is that Jesus is number one...that makes loving people first and foremost with me. Then the next place I stand for and show up for is my country under God. Last but not least, I stand for music and the arts balanced with education and from similar vantage points for each child. I also believe, animals should have the best care from humans, at least while an animal is under human management then best practice at all times should be applied. Most certainly and unequivically the utmost care should prevail. With that said I share a commentary on my personal best in developing a musical library.
2.) Here is commentary on Todd Bailey's music:author: RadioIndy
“Superfuge” by Todd Bailey is a very stripped-down, honest collection of acoustic rock reminiscent of the 60s era. Fusing only Todd’s vocals and acoustic guitars, these songs are very intimate in nature. Lyrically, Todd tackles topics of romance, love, and loss. “d13” demonstrates Todd’s very emotional and passionate lyrics. Moreover, listeners can find comfort in Todd’s consistency of style, song-structure, and tone. Furthermore, minimal production contributes to “Superfuge’s” stripped-down, 60’s vibe.
My view: In my day rock n roll was... yeah, sexy and fun. My art and music pursuit is to focus on those two attributes. The dog is my son's dog and sexy not... but beautiful they both are. The motorcylce is an American Triumph and a dream machine that I hope to own someday. It rings a bell for me.
3.) Personal commentary: I have finally arrived somewhere just a little ways ahead of nowhere...the music I have produced is world-wide. By using the internet, a powerful tool, I placed my tunes where they can be heard. This gives me a place where I find a great deal of satisfaction that over 500,000 thousand people have listen to my songs. At least that is how many clicks or registered counts on my tunes. All this really means is the art I did was shared. And that is all an artist could hope for, one who is starting and can find an outlet to express into.
Why write one more tune?
I didn't do it for me but for art. I am an art advocate and think the whole balance approach to education is inclusive of God, Country, and the Arts. My fund raiser at 1531 Champa in Denver on September 19th, at 7pm at rock n roll bar and grill is for cbca, adam14edf, and abe foundation. Be there or be not...I am there.
